MTN Uganda has officially dumped Jose Chameleone.According to reports from Uganda,Chameleone claims that he hasn't been paid his allowance for four months by MTN and all efforts to get the money have come to naught.
Thus,when he was given an offer to perform at the Celtel-sponsored 'Rock with Akon' concert,he couldn't refuse.Apparently there were many MTN staff members in attendance and they didn't appreciate the fact that Chameleone was singing sycophant-like praises for Celtel,a rival company.
The artiste even asked the audience to wave their Celtel bandannas as he performed.One of the MTN staff members was quoted as saying,"That one is finished,we made the decision to drop him a long time ago and now he has just hit the final nail in his own coffin..."Chameleone says that the bright side to all this is that now he is a free agent.
