Jennifer played the part of Effie White perfectly. Having grown up in that era, I had a small R&B band, I saw many "Effie's". For a person that wasn't born until the '80's made her performance surpass any expectations that I had.
I have seen the movie Dreamgirls at least 20 times over the past 4 weeks! The sincererity and the delivery of Jennifer 's performance is beyond excellence.
Are there plans for another movie performance by Jennifer Hudson?

Nobody expected her to win the role of Effie over hundreds of professional singers and actresses.
Hudson proved her critics wrong with her outstanding performance. She has a beautiful & marvelous voice and already people are starting to compare her with Beyonce which of course is wrong ,their styles are different.
Yep, Hudson is expected to feature in several upcoming films.
