Contrary to reports,Big Mic,the Kenyan representative in the Channel O Sprite Hip-Hop Africa free style competition will be attending the finals in South Africa.Rumor had it that his parents had declined to give him permission to attend the event and that the runner-up,Lethal Dynamic,would instead take his place."I will be attending the event,but only for a day because I have exams that week,"he says.Big Mic is currently studying architecture at the University of Nairobi.Buddha Blaze of WAPI,where the contest was held,confirmed this,saying that the recent unrest in the country contributed to the exam dates in the country being changed."He will definitely be going.As for Lethal Dynamic,it's up to the voters to decide whether or not he will attend as a wild card
